!s2 is the command that calls Streamando’s custom overlay, in case you want to promote a streamer friend. We also suggest setting up a bot command, so the overlay appears on the screen and in the chat!
The Overlay is designed to work only on StreamElements, but don’t worry, even if you use StreamLabs or any other program or version of OBS, it will work normally as long as your program allows you to add browser sources.
Installation
1st Step:To install your overlay into your StreamElements overlay gallery, simply click one of the options below:
2nd Step:In your overlay gallery still on the StreamElements website, click on the overlay’s “Edit” button and then on the screen that opens, in the upper right corner, to the left of the “Preview” and “Save” buttons, click on the chain button to copy the overlay’s URL.
Step 3: With the copied URL, in OBS, add a new Source/Browser Source. In the URL option, paste the one you copied following the previous step in StreamElements. In the width, you put 920 and in the height, you put 920, so what appears in OBS will be exactly the same as on the Streamelements website.
4th Step:Test the overlay! To do this, simply type !s2 @yourname in your channel chat and watch the magic happen 💜.
You can, and should, customize your overlay! To do this, in the sidebar on the left, click on the layer !s2 ShoutOut by Nyokeon, then click on settings and then several groups of customizations will be displayed.
Settings
Here you can test the overlay, invert the balloon and change the language.
Permissions
Here you configure who can use your overlay, by default only you can use it, however you can allow Moderators, VIPs and chat users (Common User) to use the command.
Sound Effects
Here you can configure the sounds that will play on the overlay, you can add up to 3 sounds at different times.
Colors of Elements
Here you change the background colors of the overlay elements themselves, remembering that the background color of the balloon with the Streamando logo is the same as the background color of the balloon displaying the user.
Text Colors
Here you change the colors of the textual elements of the overlay
onRaid
Here you can configure the overlay to automatically run after receiving a Raid.
Now let’s go to the chat command! It’s cool to put it because then the overlay appears on the screen and the bot makes it appear in the chat.
